Privacy policy
This policy applies to Mone: Personal Expense Tracker on Android. It reflects the app functionality reviewed on the date above.
App and policy scope
Mone: Personal Expense Tracker helps you track income, expenses and personal finance summaries. The app currently does not require an account to record transactions.
This policy applies to the Mone Android application and this policy website. Third-party services, including Google, have their own privacy policies. When you visit this page, the web host may process IP addresses and technical connection data to deliver the website and protect its infrastructure.
Information you enter
Mone lets you enter amounts, transaction types, categories, dates, notes, and related information to calculate summaries. These records are stored locally on your device.
In the current app architecture, Mone does not automatically upload your transaction records to a developer-operated server, and no account is required for normal tracking features.
Google AdMob advertising
Mone integrates Google AdMob to display ads. Google and advertising partners may process data needed to provide, measure, protect, and personalize ads. Examples may include IP addresses, device information, advertising identifiers, diagnostics and ad interactions, depending on region, device settings, ad type and consent choices.
See Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob information for additional details.
Ad consent and privacy controls
Where applicable, Mone may display a Google-provided privacy message that lets you consent, decline or manage advertising-related processing purposes.
An advertising privacy options control may appear in Mone’s Settings when required and available. You may also adjust advertising or privacy settings on your Android device or Google Account.
Sharing and exporting your information
The Mone developer does not automatically sell or transmit the income and expense entries you provide to advertisers. However, the advertising SDK may exchange advertising and device-related data with Google under Google’s policies.
If you choose to export JSON / CSV or use Android’s share dialog, files are saved or sent to destinations you select. Those recipient services apply their own practices.
Storage, backups and deletion
In Mone Settings, you can Back up JSON, Export CSV, Restore data, or Delete all transactions.
Uninstalling Mone or clearing its app data can permanently remove transaction records stored on the device. Backup files you previously exported elsewhere are not automatically deleted. Google-managed advertising data follows Google’s separate retention and deletion policies.
Data security
Mone’s expense-tracking features are designed to work without sending transaction records to a Mone server. This does not remove all risks from your device or exported files.
We recommend securing your phone with a screen lock, keeping your software updated, and storing backups safely. Avoid sharing financial backups with untrusted parties.
Children and policy updates
Mone is not specifically designed for children. The developer does not intentionally collect children’s transaction records through an account system.
We may update this policy when app features, service providers or legal requirements change. The revision date will be shown at the top of this page.
